Free Cutting Brass Rods
IS 319/89 - Grade I
Uses: The most suitable material for high speed machining, but have limited ability to be cold worked. Also used for architectural extrusions, thresholds, hardware, gears, pinions, automat parts, screw machine parts, hinges, lock bodies, screws, nuts & bolts.
 
IS 319/89 - Grade II
Uses: Excellent machinability combined with sufficient ductility for some cold work. Also used for architectural extrusions, thresholds, hardware, gears, pinions, automat parts, screw machine parts, hinges, lock bodies, screws, nuts & bolts.
 
IS 319/89 - Grade III
Uses: Uses: Operation of machining and low riveting.
 
BS 2874 - CZ 121 Pb3
